2012 New Year Resolutions for iTCSLive

We’re truly glad to share the prospect of growth and opportunities with all our employees in 2012. Our organization appreciates innovative minds that work hard and help us in achieving our long-terms goals. We’re looking forward to employees who can live up to the challenges of our organization and transform themselves as per the need of the hour.

This year, we’ve come up with a grade-system wherein our performances will be judged upon a few factors and marked accordingly. Let’s take a close look at these factors, and identify our areas of opportunity -

1. Quantity of work:

This signifies the volume of work that is performed and delivered by an employee within a stipulated time frame. Our work has to be goal-oriented and not just for the sake of piling up. In doing so, our primary objective is to save time and resources.

2. Quality of work:

We’re looking forward to deliver quality work and meet the expectations of our clients. Our work should make things easier for the end-user and has to be error-free. What we deliver should help us create a niche in the web-world.

3. Mentoring :

Each one of us should act as mentors to fresh entrants. We must try and provide them with a platform wherein they can learn and experiment. This will help them develop into better performers and form potential resources in the future.

4. Positive attitude towards colleagues

All of us are here to work hand-in-hand and help develop each other into quality resources. We all need to assist each other in achieving our respective goals, so that we may contribute more towards the larger goals and objectives of our organization.

Other key aspects of our organization that need serious consideration -

Hiring quality resources is always our highest priority

Our HR division should only concentrate in hiring quality resources for our organization. We’ll need to strike a balance between expertise and raw talent. We should look for people who’re honest and dedicated. Our HR team members will stay put to the idea of developing a proper hierarchy and dealing with our employee concerns at the earliest.

Transforming new ideas into success

Employees who’re coming up with fresh ideas will be identified if they can establish the necessity of such protocol and show us a way to achieve them. Many of us have come up with the proposition to start a new Team on the Java Platform. It’s perhaps the best time to test the skills of our Java developers and include them in our new team. We are going to introduce new features for our iTCSLive Fans pretty soon. We are also quite close to introducing a social media platform for web commuters. Such a platform would enable them to share their ideas at their own free will.

Keeping our competitors at bay

We must remember our growing number of competitors during the course of our business expansion. With a view to preserve our goodwill we have hired a strong RND team. Our RND team should focus on introducing effective systems and work patterns on the basis of key researches.

Counting upon all of the above factors we may certainly look forward to improvements in terms of time management, work environment and development of more productive resources in the days to come. Let’s unite for a year-long resolution and live up to our promises in 2012!!

Our Workshop - iTCSLive

Instead of saying a company, we would love to speak about our own Workshop thats is iTCSLive. This is most vibrant place we have ever found. A small young and passionate team, always thrust to generate unique ideas, collaboration & cooperation remains the key to work with several projects at a time. Whenever a fresher (basically a technology graduate) joins to the workshop, s/he receives ample opportunity to learn and develop herself every single moment. Most of the projects what we have worked so far are mainly comprises the business verticals like Realty, Hotel, Print media, FMCG, Finance, Community, Shopping and so on. In fact we have managed to learn the techniques and modules as to how to develop large portals, specially on the open source platform. We are one of the specialists in developing web business and portals in the open source platform. Popular technologies in this class are Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress.

Introducing Free Webmail feature like Yahoo, Gmail

We have introduced a technology that would provide free mailing service like Yahoo, Gmail through the existing website. That is, an integration of common Log In system with your existing website using member user name and password. For example, one is having a website like www.abc.com. S/he can offer free webmail service to the visitors through the existing website.

The feature enables creation of user from the front end whenever user is registering. Admin can manage and monitor the entire database and of course the user profiles at the same time. The advantage of using this particular feature is that admin can use the database for promotional, email buzz purpose.

Server requirement: Any shared hosting with unlimited bandwidth as well as space and Cpanel feature.

The service would cost $1200 to $1500 depending on the client’s requirement.

We have developed an unique logo towards social media marketing and networking process of itcslive.com. We have tried to represents both the Twitter and Facebook media in a single ornament. If one notice minutely, the logo is being copyright protected through the shades of iTCSLive. The technique has been taken to implement the logo is a flying kind of thing. It will follow along with the scrolls. Later on we will try to develop more social media applications.

Client Service Process on Web Designing

After receiving an web design contact from our client, our graphic designers start working on it. If the client provides any clue or idea on say color, theme and allied issues, we develop the layout on the basis of client’s priority. In case the client do not have any specific preferences, designers formulate the layout on their own analyzing the subject based color, logo and other technical issues. We next send it to the client’s end for the required confirmation. If the design has got confirmed, our designers send it to the developers to fix the web template or layout. Else, designers work out on the necessary changes and get the confirmation within few days.

The technology and/or tools we use for the web design purpose:  Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator.

Our Salary and Incentive structure

Last week we sat together with all of our team members to fix the incentive structure. So far we didn’t have that option, as the number of employees were too few. Now with 12 members Subikar worked out the architecture and presented before us.

It is a simple model and will work like the following way:

    1. Apart from the remuneration/salary, this will be added in the salary account at the middle of the next month.
    2. An potential project will be tagged with some points depending on the factors like time range, costs and people involved with the project.
    3. If a project contains 30 points and the deadline is 7 days, then after completion of the project total incentive will stands at INR 25*30= INR 750 e.g. (1 point bearing INR 25).
    4. Now the members involved with the project will fix how much effort they have given percentage wise. The total incentive will get disbursed among the members. But an employee will be eligible for incentives once he/she completes 6 months in the company.
    5. A yearly increment of 10% to 30% will be provided after completion of one year, depending on the performance and collaboration with the team members.
