Our Salary and Incentive structure

Last week we sat together with all of our team members to fix the incentive structure. So far we didn’t have that option, as the number of employees were too few. Now with 12 members Subikar worked out the architecture and presented before us.

It is a simple model and will work like the following way:

    1. Apart from the remuneration/salary, this will be added in the salary account at the middle of the next month.
    2. An potential project will be tagged with some points depending on the factors like time range, costs and people involved with the project.
    3. If a project contains 30 points and the deadline is 7 days, then after completion of the project total incentive will stands at INR 25*30= INR 750 e.g. (1 point bearing INR 25).
    4. Now the members involved with the project will fix how much effort they have given percentage wise. The total incentive will get disbursed among the members. But an employee will be eligible for incentives once he/she completes 6 months in the company.
    5. A yearly increment of 10% to 30% will be provided after completion of one year, depending on the performance and collaboration with the team members.

      All the employees have accepted the structure amidst one hour of discussion. Thanks for system Subikar.

      Present Staff Strength of iTCSLive

      We revealed earlier that, we are a small organization with energetic and young talent pool inside our two room rented flat. We are 12 people in total working closely together in teams to the best-fit needs of our clients. The formation is as follows:

      Programmer and developer - 6
      Web and graphic designer - 2
      SEO and Internet marketer - 2
      Content writer - 1
      Data entry operator- 1

      Projected staff strength by the 2nd quarter of the FY 2010-11:

      Viewing the present market scenario and the future growth of our business, we could be able to reach the mark of 25 employees by September to October 2010.

      Choosing our Corporate Colour

      While starting the design of the website (www.itcslive.com), Subikar proposed our designer to give a shape so that the website could have an old appearance. In fact we tried to present the existing website to be an older one as we are quite young in the field. Thus we have the present colour and logo. We are interested in building brand on our logo.

      One more thought we have in our future course of action. We would like to introduce T-shirts for our all co-workers matched with our corporate colour along with the logo. A Great fun indeed.

      ITCSLive celebrates 62 years of independence

      ITCSLive wishes lots of happiness, prosperity, peace and economic independence to all the people of our proud nation, our clients and the visitors on the eve of 62 years of India Independence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India_independence). To celebrate this occasion we have colored our business logo after the National Flag of India. In August 15, 1947 we got our political and economical freedom from the then British Govt. as on “On 3 June 1947, Viscount Louis Mountbatten, the last British Governor-General of India, announced the partitioning of the British Indian Empire into a secular India”.

      As a web business developer and believer in open source, we would expect greater penetration of Internet even to the interior rural population. Information is the power in this generation Y era. Internet could be one of the most important mediums to enlighten and educate our rural people. In this Independence Day, we want an educated, technologically developed and a harmonized India.

      Formation of iTCSLive

      Since inception just after the completion of Graduation degree (B.Tech) on Information Technology, our founder had always an intention to get into some kind of venture. But the process was difficult a bit as it was not easy to find an investor.

      He started his career as a junior Php programmer at a Kolkata based websites and web application development company. After completion of two years or so, he decided to quit the job and to start something for himself. As funding was the main constrained, the founder of this company, Mr. Subikar Barman had to do lots of freelancing works to accumulate the initial set up money.

      Primarily he was totally perplexed as to what to do after quitting his job. But he accumulated himself amidst immense pressure and initiated more and more freelancing works. Fortunately he got himself around couple of good friends and batch mates from his engineering college in the mean time.

      The journey of iTCSLive starts in a rented flat consists of two rooms; one is 10/10 feet and another would be around 8/8 feet, the mezzanine floor in fact. Our first month revenue was around US$ 1500. At this year end or at the first quarter of 2010 we would be able to shift our total base to a new wholly owned flat :) Hopefully then at that time we will have more employees  according to our work.

      iTCSLive: The Company

      ITCSlive is a website design and development company based in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), India. Established in January 1, 2008, the company has crossed its initial phase of troubles to restore a stable platform. The organization generates its business mainly offering design, development, web templates, community websites, Joomla technology services and software development to the overseas clients. In that sense, it is truly an outsourcing company for our clients.

      Besides client service on web design, development, the company has few other in-house business models on online magazine, debt consolidation, greetings card and non-drunker community. Though we are engaged mainly in web development and software services, we have other services like content writing, Internet marketing and SEO in our business planning pipeline. Hopefully we would succeed in our sincere endeavor to transform this small organization into a bigger one.
